my welcome home email today

From Kate's best friend:

Kate is not doing well. She is in a lot of pain, on oxygen, getting shocked often and not mobile. If a donor heart is not found, she currently has a few days to a week left. Please pray. Ang

I am sad to hear this. I don't know you at all and will probably never meet you unless there's some kind of happenstance. But your story and Kate's story has touched me and I will pray for her. For her family and friends.

Pushing my Palms Together.

Thanks, K. I'm still in an utter state of shock. It hasn't been real, it never has - Kate has 99 lives and I refuse to believe this is the 99th. I'll be pressing palms myself.
I'll keep Kate in my thoughts.

Hugs to you too.

I appreciate your prayers. I made it through another day, and was able to watch my daughter dance - for hopefully not the last time. :)
