mermaids

Sunday morning I woke up bright and early with one thing on my mind: mermaids. It was dear sweet M's birthday, and she's got a mermaid thing going on. Her undersea party had costumes listed as de rigeur and I was only too happy to bust out the sewing machine (oh, how I've missed sewing!) and whip up a trio of apple green polyester and candy floss pink tulle mermaid costumes for my girls and the birthday honoree.

Oh my goodness those mermaid costumes are darling! I can picture my girls in them (well.. just Gracie and Julia).

Ha ha! That was SO much fun, you did a most excellent job on the costumes! I love the picture of their pink tails on the grass, too funny! Mika wore hers for 3 days straight, I had to convince her it really needed to go in the laundry!

Thanks for coming out, you guys made the bday sooo much fun!
